Our Inn & Gallery

The Red Velvet Inn & Gallery is a unique bed & breakfast located within walking distance to downtown Navasota, this 130+ year old Victorian style B&B has an on-site Art Gallery and is just 20 minutes from College Station, TX.  This historical home was built by Charles W. Stewart, two-time mayor of Navasota and son of Charles B Stewart, signor of the Texas Declaration of Independence and designer of our Texas State Flag.

Navasota is known as “The Town that Trains Built” and is one of three cities in Texas that Union Pacific has designated as Train Town USA. The Red Velvet Inn & Gallery is two blocks from the train tracks and an average of 30 trains a day travel through Navasota, so you will hear trains passing by, even at night. It is part of the charm of Navasota and the Inn, but light sleepers should be aware of this.

All bedrooms have free wi-fi, refrigerators and internet TV.   Coffee, tea, water and Red Velvet pastries are complimentary. Breakfast is served each morning between 8am and 9am.  We hope you take the time to enjoy our fine art collection and locally made crafts.  Pricing available upon request.

We look forward to sharing our wonderful home with you.
