The Bed & Breakfast and Fine Art Gallery

The Red Velvet Inn & Gallery is a unique bed & breakfast located within walking distance to downtown Navasota, this 130+ year old Victorian style B&B has an on-site Art Gallery and is just 20 minutes from College Station, TX.  This historical home was built by Charles W. Stewart, two-time mayor of Navasota and son of Charles B Stewart, signor of the Texas Declaration of Independence and designer of our Texas State Flag.

Navasota is known as “The Town that Trains Built” and is one of three cities in Texas that Union Pacific has designated as Train Town USA. The Red Velvet Inn & Gallery is two blocks from the train tracks and an average of 30 trains a day travel through Navasota, so you will hear trains passing by, even at night. It is part of the charm of Navasota and the Inn, but light sleepers should be aware of this.

For single room bookings we require a credit card to hold your reservation.  We ask that you contact us at least one week in advance should your travel arrangements change.  A one night deposit is required at time of booking if you are renting the second floor or the entire home.

I look forward to hosting you and introducing you to my little town of Navasota!  So much to love, so much to do!
